It is always an honor when a bride refers her closest friends to you. I had the pleasure of working with Marissa when she was a bridesmaid in Lauren and Jason’s 2008 wedding. You can imagine my excitement when Marissa called to say that she and Steven were engaged! I immediately knew that this was going to be another fabulous (and fun-filled) event. With 36 bridesmaids and groomsmen, this wedding was a party from the start! It was an absolute pleasure working with Marissa and Steven and bringing her vision of a modern cocktail party to life. I wish them a lifetime full of happiness as they share their love and anticipate the newest little addition to their family in the coming months.

Real Weddings – Brenda and Matt
Brenda and Matt were a wonderful couple to work with! I first met Brenda when we were both attending the University of Florida. We had quite a few classes together and she would always hear me talk about my love of weddings. Fast forward a couple of years and I was excited to hear that Brenda was getting married! I was honored to know that Brenda immediately thought of me to help pull her weddding details together.
They began their day with a breathtaking church ceremony that truly showed their love for one another. The ceremony was followed by a very modern and chic affair at Nova 535 in St. Pete. Brenda had a fabulous attention to details and planned lots of unique touches that truly complemented her elegant plum and green color scheme. My favorite detail from their wedding was their “guestbook”. They used various size shadow boxes and had guests write well wishes on different color post-its. This was very special to them because Matt proposed by writing “Will You Marry Me” using hundreds of post-its on one of the walls in their home! How cute!!!
Brenda and Matt were all smiles as they enjoyed their day with family and friends. We thank them for allowing us to be a part of their wedding and we wish them happiness for years to come!

Saadia and Rashad were such a great couple to work with. Saadia is literally one of the sweetest people that I have ever met. They shared a long distance relationship throughout college, and they now share a love that proves distance does not limit a couple’s ability to grow close. In addition to a loving relationship, they have two of the most loving and supportive families. From the catering to the flowers and decor, their families worked together to create a wedding out of true love. I loved Kelly and Dustin!!! I started working with them a year prior to their wedding. I have never seen a bride more organized than Kelly. This special couple celebrated their wedding in the Dr. Phillip’s House at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. They are such an energetic couple and they refused to let any rain on their wedding day keep them from having fun! When Juliette and I first met, she explained that she wanted a modern and chic wedding that truly left her guests in awe. As we met over the next year, we established an amazing team of vendors that could give her exactly what she was looking for.

Nilda and John are such a wonderful couple and they will always hold a special place in my heart. I began working with them in August of 2008. Due to unforeseen circumstances, their wedding was postponed. Fast forward two years and I was thrilled to hear from Nilda again in May of 2010. I was honored to still be a part of their wedding day and pick up the planning where we left off. They have such a strong love for one another and their dedication and commitment to their relationship is insurmountable. On August 7, 2010, they shared their love amidst their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful day for two beautiful people! I wish them much happiness in their life together.
